ET-BUD handles retail purchases and wholesale enquiries. Before ordering, check the selected option, quantity, total including VAT, availability and collection method. A quotation enquiry is not an order.
1. Seller and scope
The store at et-bud.pl is operated by ET-BUD Tomasz Tajak, Polish tax identification number (NIP) 5421585124, address: ul. Jana Matejki 43, 15-196 Białystok, Poland, a trader registered in Poland’s Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (CEIDG). Contact: biuro@et-bud.pl, phone +48 885 055 165. Calls are charged at your operator’s standard rate.
These terms govern store use, goods purchases, quotation enquiries, payment, collection, complaints and withdrawal. A consumer is a natural person buying for purposes not directly related to their business or profession. Certain sole traders also have the rights described in section 9.
2. Using the store
Browsing is free. You need an internet-connected device and an up-to-date browser. Basket functions require technical cookies and JavaScript. Orders and electronic correspondence require a working email address. An account is created automatically with the first order; a password setup link is sent by email. If the email address already has an account, log in before ordering.
Do not send unlawful content or other people’s data without an appropriate basis. Provide details needed to handle your enquiry. The basket service ends when emptied or when the session expires; you may leave the site at any time. The enquiry form is free to use. Report website problems to biuro@et-bud.pl, describing the issue; complaints about the electronic service are answered within 14 days.
If ordering or form submission is disabled, the relevant function will indicate this. Adding a product to the basket, entering data or clicking an inactive button does not conclude a contract. You can request a quote by phone or email instead.
3. Products, prices and discounts
Product pages describe models, options, dimensions and specifications. Select the correct option before purchasing. Photographs illustrate products; binding specifications and included items are those of the selected option and agreed order. Illustrations do not mean printing or optional equipment is included.
Prices are shown in the selected PLN or EUR currency. Amounts marked “net” or “excluding VAT” exclude VAT. The applicable rate depends on the product’s tax treatment; the summary shows net value, discounts, VAT and the total payable. “From” prices refer to the cheapest stated option. For consumers, the final purchase price is the total including VAT and stated additional costs.
EUR unit prices excluding VAT are calculated by dividing PLN prices by the latest available NBP average EUR exchange rate, checked daily, and rounding upwards to the next whole euro. Volume price tiers are converted in the same way. VAT, discounts and totals are then calculated in the order currency using WooCommerce’s monetary precision. The order records its currency and applied rate; later exchange rate changes do not change that order. If the NBP service is temporarily unavailable, the last successfully retrieved rate is used.
Quantity thresholds apply to the same option unless stated otherwise and are calculated in the basket. Coupon terms depend on the promotion. Changing quantity may change the unit price. Consumer price reduction announcements show the relevant lowest price for the period required by law.
Products marked “price on request” require a quotation. “Coming soon” does not allow purchasing or reservation. Weed control fabric deliveries are planned from January 2027; actual timing and availability will be confirmed before order acceptance.
4. Orders and contract formation
- Choose the product, option and quantity, and add them to the basket.
- Check items and discounts, and enter buyer details and, if needed, company and invoice details.
- Choose an available collection and payment method. Before ordering, check the total including VAT, all costs and fulfilment time.
- Read these terms and the privacy policy, tick the required acknowledgement and submit using the button clearly indicating an obligation to pay.
Catalogue information is an invitation to place an order. Your order is your offer. The automated receipt email acknowledges arrival; the contract is concluded when the seller separately confirms acceptance for fulfilment by email. The confirmation covers agreed products, prices including VAT, costs, payment method and timing, together with the terms and withdrawal information on a durable medium.
If an order cannot be accepted on the stated terms, we contact the buyer. Changes to product, price or timing require their acceptance. No response does not imply consent. Later changes to terms or price lists do not change an accepted order’s agreed conditions.
5. Payment and collection
The currently available method is free collection at ul. Jana Matejki 43, 15-196 Białystok, after readiness is confirmed and a collection time is agreed. Do not arrive before confirmation. Preparation timing follows the product information or individual quote; unless another period is agreed, goods are handed over to consumers within the statutory 30 days after the contract is concluded.
Payment on collection is available. Pay when goods are handed over, in the agreed form; the seller confirms available payment forms at the collection point before accepting the order. There is no additional charge for this method. Other payments are available only if expressly offered and described before ordering.
Courier, pallet and oversized goods transport require a separate quotation until available at checkout. Transport costs and terms must be accepted before contract formation; absence of a quote does not mean free delivery. We do not add unagreed costs afterwards. Check goods on collection; absence of a damage report does not remove statutory complaint rights.
6. Wholesale and custom products
“Request a wholesale quote” is used to agree price, availability, quantity, specification and transport. An enquiry does not commit you to buy. The quote states the product, specifications, prices excluding and including VAT, additional costs, payment, timing and validity. A contract is concluded on the quotation’s terms after explicit acceptance of agreed conditions.
Custom product specifications are agreed before ordering. An exception to statutory withdrawal rights may apply only to genuinely non-prefabricated goods made to the buyer’s specifications or clearly personalised needs. Selecting a standard catalogue option or ordering goods specially sourced does not remove that right.
7. Goods complaints
Email complaints to biuro@et-bud.pl or write to the seller’s address. Describe the goods, purchase, problem and requested solution. Order numbers and photographs can help but are not required for acceptance. A receipt or original packaging is not the sole acceptable evidence.
For consumers, we are liable for lack of conformity appearing within 2 years of handing over goods, subject to statutory exceptions. Consumers may request repair or replacement; in circumstances prescribed by law they may request a price reduction or withdraw, particularly where non-conformity is substantial or has not been remedied. An insignificant lack of conformity does not give a withdrawal right on that basis.
Repair or replacement is free for consumers, within a reasonable time and without excessive inconvenience. We arrange collection and necessary transport at our cost. Consumer complaints are answered within 14 days of receipt; failure to respond within that period means acceptance as provided by law. Any guarantee is additional and does not restrict the seller’s statutory liability.
8. Withdrawal from a distance contract
A consumer may withdraw from a contract made online or by email without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving goods, personally or through a designated person other than the carrier. For separately delivered goods, the period starts with receipt of the last item, batch or part. Collection does not remove this right if the contract was previously concluded at a distance.
Send an unambiguous statement to biuro@et-bud.pl or the seller’s address before the deadline. You may use the form below, but it is not compulsory. Return goods to the seller without undue delay and within 14 days of the statement. Original packaging is not required; protect goods from damage.
We refund payments due, including the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the order, within 14 days of receiving the statement. Free collection has a delivery cost of zero. Refunds use the same payment method unless you agree to another at no extra cost. We may withhold reimbursement until receiving goods or evidence of return, whichever is earlier, unless we have agreed to collect them ourselves.
The buyer pays direct return costs unless otherwise agreed or applicable law requires the seller to pay. Goods may be returned personally to the seller. For bulky goods not normally returnable by post, return transport costs are provided individually before the contract, considering the goods and location. Failure to provide required return cost information does not place that cost on the buyer. Contact about transport arrangements is not a condition for effective withdrawal. The seller pays return costs for an accepted complaint.
You are liable for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of goods. Withdrawal does not apply in statutory exceptions, including genuinely customised goods described in section 6; complaint rights remain unaffected.
9. Business purchases
If you are a natural person entering a contract directly related to your business but outside its professional nature, determined in particular by the activity registered in CEIDG, applicable statutory withdrawal and conformity rights also apply. A tax identification number on an invoice alone does not remove these rights. We apply the response periods in section 7 to these buyers too.
For other businesses, liability and complaints are governed by the Polish Civil Code and separately agreed contracts. These terms do not introduce a general exclusion of statutory warranty liability. Statutory consumer withdrawal without reason does not apply unless additionally agreed.
10. Help and dispute resolution
Contact the seller first. Consumers may also seek help from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman or the Trade Inspection, and use out-of-court dispute resolution under the conditions described at polubowne.uokik.gov.pl. After an unresolved complaint, the seller provides the legally required statement about participation in out-of-court proceedings on paper or another durable medium. Participation follows the rules of the relevant procedure. These terms do not restrict access to the competent court.
11. Personal data and final provisions
Data processing and cookies are described in the privacy policy. Acknowledging it is not consent to marketing.
You may retain these terms by printing or saving the page. The version agreed when the contract is concluded applies. Changes do not operate retrospectively or limit acquired rights. Matters not covered are governed by applicable Polish law, while preserving mandatory consumer protection under the law applicable to the buyer’s circumstances.
